Overview
During the past spring, I worked with a team of innovators to rebrand The Design Lab, which is the center of design research, education and community on UC San Diego campus. As an emerging lab in the field of interdisciplinary design, it is important to establish its own brand identity. Thus, the team was gathered to conduct surveys among owners of the lab and design a website and a brand guideline best representing the vibe and message it intended to show in front of public.
Additional experimental works I did beyond the project
I designed these mockups with the same design guidelines I used to craft The Design Lab Website. It provided alternative screens for multiple digital devices to display event information.
Wall Display
This interface is designed for an interactive wall display in front of the Jacobs Hall, where events sponsored by Design Lab are usually held. It enabled users to find ongoing and future events to attend and watch stream event recording.
iPhone Interface
This is the event page interface displayed on phone, showing users events available for them to attend.
